Hey im new here and am not sure if this is where i should post this...anyway my problem is i hav eto cd burners and neither of them will make a vcd? i have tried reinstalling my drivers and everything.....the first cd burner is an internal hp cd writer plus 8100...the other is a external 4 speed that someone is letting me borrow i have no software for it and have emailed the company( it is an exp crw- 940) i have installed all the drivers i could find for it but still it wont let me burn anything on it......the hp has let me make one vcd before but now i installed the new easy cd creator and that seems to be the problem....but it lets me burn everything that i have before just not the vcds? if any of you could help it would be very very apreciated thanks alot

  2. Does the software that you're using even give you a VCD option, or does it just give you Data, Audio, etc. options? I believe some software requires an additional download or plugin to support VCD burning.

  3. yeah it does i have tried using nero......vcdeasy...the vcd creator on the new easycd creator....ulead dvd movie software.....i think i have tried just about everything....nero works with the external but after its done the cd still doesnt have anything on it? vcdeasy used to work with the hp but now nothing will work ever since i installed easycd creator 5 sooo i think thats the problem but i cant uninstall it without having my old easy cd creator 4 for some reason.....so i dunno what to do.....hopefully someone on here has had the same problem and can help me out...thanks

  4. oh another thing that just happend with the hp it gave me a list of the errors....it said buffer underrun....maybe that will help with you guys diagnosis

  5. Is there anything on the disk using your computer to explore? Is it a vcd 2.0 compliant image? I have a Athlon 900, with 384 meg of ram, All in wonder 128 pro, have used 2 burners with no problems, HP 9100i, and a Hi Val 12x10x32, have captured up to 150kbps and have had no problems.
    Using nero 5038.

  6. well i think i finally have it figured out......well not the hp but the other one......the exp works if i burn at 1 speed and use nero.....so i figure thats not too bad.....except neiter of my burners will alow me to copy it to a regular cd-r :cry: but at least i can make them now.....i mean i can probably just get my friend to copy em for me......thanks for your help.....if you can think of what could be wrong with the hp please tell me....i think it has something to do with easy cd creator 5? could that be a problem?
