  1. Does anyone have this model standalone player? If so have you done any type of XVCD? My question is what birate do you use? Under dvd player for this model says 2500. I have done a XVCD and the audio is choppy and video is kind of glichy. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.

  2. I have the Sony DVP-NS400 (slightly higher/newer model) and I found the same thing for XVCD. I've pretty much stuck with VCD's.

  3. I have a Sony DVP S330 and have had good luck with kwag's NTSC template. Not sure off hand what the bitrate is on it but you can check it out for yourself (if you haven't already).

  4. I am using a Sony DVP-S335, perhaps newer or an european model. In the past it seemed as if it works with VCDs, but now I tried XVCDs with 1400 and 1600 Kbps + 192 or 224 Kbps Sound and some problems occurs. The Picture is not fluent and the sound is asynchron. On the PC it is fine....
And then there is the Problem that only CD-RW's works and that a 620 Mb Mpeg File increases to over 700 Mbyte on the CD but fits on a 650MB Record ?!?!?
