DGAVCDec vs. DGDecNV (or DGAVCNecDI)

What is the difference between DGAVCDec and DGDecNV (or DGAVCDecDI)
Do you have to have Nvidia Graphic card to use DGDecNV?
And is DGAVCDec equal good as those 2 other programs?

DGAVCDec is free, but is depreciated and no longer supported. It has problems with decoding some streams, most notably PAFF streams (e.g from AVCHD camcorders)

DGDecNV requires a compatible Nvidia card (not all cards supported), and a license (donationware)

DGAVCDecDI requires a license (donationware) and DiAVC license for the decoder separately ($)
