Hello,
I was wondering if using CinemaCraft v2.64 to encode a DivX avi as a dvd format is better then TEMPGE? The sources that I have are dvd ripped. Thanks for your time and effort.

One thing is sure: CCE will do it about 4 times as fast as tmpgenc.
Tmpgenc is ssllooww. But that's just my experience, no offence to tmpgenc.
