4:3 DVD's don't scale correctly with LG BP200 Blu-Ray player

Have an LG BP200 Blu-Ray player going into a Dynex (Best Buy store brand) 32" 720P tv. Blu-Ray's play fine, but both commercial and homemade 4:3 DVD's play 16:9 no matter how I set the aspect ratio on the TV. Don't see any AR setting for the player. I've updated the firmware, doesn't make any difference.

The other thing I run into with this player is I can't go to the main disc menu on Blu-Rays. If I press Disc Menu I get the red hash through circle icon.

Any suggestions?

Nevermind, I found it, under the "Home" button. In case anyone else has this issue.
