I'm using DownloadHelper in Firefox to grab the HD versions of movie trailers from YouTube. Invariably, the resultant file will play with correct audio, but solid green for the video. Non-HD files work normally, but they're useless for my purposes.
Is there a fix or workaround for this? I'm using the latest versions of all the relevant apps, but I'm still on OSX 10.6.8.

Have you tried play them with several video players like vlc media player and mplayerx?

Yes. The files come down as .flv, but they won't even load into Adobe's own Flash creator app, which reports that the video stream is broken.
I've confirmed that it's an issue with Download Helper. I'm now using YTD, which downloads HD files perfectly.
