Hello, dear all.
I love subtitling and I always trying to learn more and more about such field.
Do you know which programs I can use to create subtitled ( with fonts /effects too ) videos similar these below?
---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fko7_SV3Lc
---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZusA8W3yt8
I wanna know how to create so nice fonts on the video. And all its effects too! And, of course, put all the lirics / text very nice synced between audio and video. Perfect synchronization, I mean.
How can I do that? I mean, I'm familiar to subtitle / syncing movies and documentaries for myself. But, for short videos just like karaoke / music types, I do not have experience.
For timing regular movies, for example, I use programs like Subtitle Edit , Sub Station Alpha , VisualSubSync or similar ones.
Bur, for creating nice fonts / effects on the video just like the videos above ( no forgetting about the synchronization concerning the lyrics / audio / video) , which programs /techniques/ ways of timing can be useful to do the job?
Any tips, tutorials, programs to pay attention?
My goal is create good looking subtitled videos. Just similar to professional ones, if its possible to achieve, for non-expertise people.![]()
Thanks for help.
Best regards.

These aren't really called "subtitles"
The 1st one is commonly called "kinetic type" or "kinetic typography". Use search with those keywords if you want more information. There are bunch of tutorials showing how to do it in various programs.
These days, it's usually done in after effects, and there is a script called "type monkey" that makes everything easier . There are a bunch of links to tutorials in the link below
http://aescripts.com/typemonkey/
2nd one is easier to do, because each word isn't timed precisely to the music or lyrics
You can do it manually in other programs e.g. NLE, but it's more tedious without scripts -
Hi.
Thanks for your advices!
I'm just impressed how people could create videos so well timed and so cool / criative effects just like those below:

Ok. Adobe After Effects is the program to deal with?
I mean, is After Effects that will create all the effects / fonts that I'm looking for?
And concerning about timing the video and lyrics? Do you recommend any specifical subtitling program? Or After Effects can do that too?
Thanks for helping.

Again, it's not "subtitling" . It's called "kinetic type". Have a look at the link I posted above and search google for "kinetic typography". I can 99.999% guarantee that professional music videos used after effects for kinetic type effects (even ones done 10 years ago) . It's just these days it's much easier with the type monkey script . A project that might have taken a whole day to do before, might only take 10 minutes with type monkey
"Fonts" are a slightly different topic, but everything you've seen on TV or youtube that has kinetic type was likely done in AE -
Hi.
I took a look and visit your adviced links to know more about the subject.
Now, I can understand better. Just similar explained in the link below:

Thanks for the tips!

I have looked for this before, find the answer on make use of http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/subtitles-text-editor-aegisub/

BTW, if you also want to know how to add subtiles you already have to video, you can try third party software like Media Covnerter, which i think is more easy.

I agree with asuka4125 that AegisSub may be part of your solution. If you have the right font on your computer, the 2nd video is not that difficult to do (just time consuming).
However, the first video is not really "subtitle" as the text is involved in a lot of movement and rotation.
Yet, before paying Adobe, try this free alternative first -> AviUtl
