Authoring DVD with both MP3 and Videos

Im trying to make a dvd (playable in a dvd player) that will show mp3 files and videos with a menu (not just to store them). Ive been using DVD Styler and its been working great...But that program and most other dvd menu creators only option to post an mp3 file as background music....Im trying to make this for a friend...Who doesnt wanna spend on $$$ on professionals.

DVD (menu) is not a file manager, and audio files have to be wrapped into video to be "browsable"/playable.

MP3 is NOT valid for DVD - period. So I strongly suspect that DVD Styler is converting your audio files and you don't know it.

The dvdstyler program can make multiple separate menus...Is there a way of making a "file manager"/menu of mp3 songs..Does "any" dvd menu creator do this?

Nope. Because it's not supported by the dvd-video standard.

Can you suggest any dvd menu creator program that would make a menu of mp3 music.....I once saw this in a dvd tribute to rock legend Ritchie Valens.

Ok...I made 2 dvds so far with dvd styler...one dvd I made 3 separate menus with many videos, worked fine...But the third disc I prepared alot more menus, 1 menu has about 12 videos...while 2 others have about 4-5 videos...the dvd styler said something wrong with byte rate before it even begin encoding...all the videos are mp4 and are less 2-4 minutes in length a piece...(I was hoping to fix this with mp3 (with sources call "mp3 file managing")..

Nope. Not I. The O.P. isn't listening to you, Baldrick, or noemi7, not even listening to DVD Styler. Thinks a byte rate is a bitrate. I suggest that someone start over, from scratch.
