    Hi All,

    I was trying to install the latest DVDslideshowGUI on a standalone Windows XP (i.e. no internet connection)
    There was an error message about problem connecting to server. I read somewhere in this forum about issue IE7/8.

    Any idea to fix this ? Alternatively, which older version will work on Windows XP (no internet connection) ?

    The installer is trying to look for update and if there is no internet connection, it will stop installation.
    The version that does not require internet access is 0916.
