    so i was channel surfing and just cought SNL's halloween special, and shore enough, here comes barack obama, ..live, its saturday night!

    a lot of funny skits so far.

    anyway, i was wondering...is this a recording or is this actually live ?

    I think the question is meant to read "Is the program taped 'live' ie in front of a studio audience or is it just a laughter track ?"

    i think they did pre-record it, for the president's part only, and added that in the special last night.

    the rest were combined of their best skits from other halloween episodes. there were some i hadn't seen until last night.

    plus, Bill Hader is my favorite. he is the funniest, in my opinion.
