    Hey all,
I'm getting rather peeved at Aimersoft's Ultimate Video Converter. After stripping the DRM and all running smoothly in a film's m4v form, whenever I try to convert to an HD AVIl; audio/video out of sync, regardless of settings.
Does anyone know of a great, high quality m4v to HD AVI converter, for 1080p? Preferably retaining up to 6 channels?
Thanks so much if you can help me out

    Why do you need AVI?

But try xvid4psp(version 5!) and choose the avi hardware preset....but most avi hardware players will NOT support any HD resolutions. (if you want it to work on avi divx/xvid players....the only reason I think of getting an avi)

    ANd you can't keep any 6 channels if it's Channel(s) : 2 channels...

I just happen to prefer to keep the AVI container rather than others. I noticed that Aimersoft's app calls out preset "AVI" and another "HD AVI". I just figured one was more true to retaining HD quality.
As for the 6 channels, what I provided was the MediaInfo from a different file. The 5.1 track is in a different film, another that I'm trying to convert.

Keep it as mp4 or mkv! You will just lose quality by reconverting and you don't want h264/avc video in avi either.
