  1. Hello, there's an HD MP4 RAW I got from a anime and I'd like to know how can I edit it to cut out the commercials, but, without losing the quality (and I know it can be done, it's just 3 seconds.)

Also, any way to get soft subs on MP4?

Please give more info from the mp4. Use mediainfo , open mp4, view->text.

Yes, you can add/multiplex subtitles to a mp4. Use for a example a multiplexer like mp4box or a gui for it like mp4boxgui.

You can try avidemux and video to video converter (click on them for basic cutting guides). But you can only cut at keyframes(they can be several seconds a part) in those without reconverting.
