  1. Hello,I'm sorry if this is really newby question, but I searched around and simply can't find answer on this
I'm trying to find software which will allow me to split large raw MP4 files (Sony EXR1 footage).
I don't need to edit video, I just need to chop several parts out of video and to keep it unedited.
Is there any software which can do that and keep both video and sound unedited?
I tried SolveigMM Video Splitter, AviDemx, GliEditor and couple others, no result...

    Thanks in advance,
    MJ

What happens when you use those tools? Doesn't support the video, crashes, etc.

Have you tried videoredo h264 suite?

  3. EXR-1 shoots xdcam which is not the same as mp4. Sony's clip browser software (which comes with the camera) is designed for this purpose.

And FWIW, although it's not very complex, what you're doing is certainly editing.

Hi Baldrick, thanks for reply. Yes, I did try VideoRoDo, and this one can see video but sound in made split file is rubbish (opposite of what SolveigMM Video Splitter does)... Funny, if I can somehow purge this two programs I would get what I need lol
