I'm very new to this site. I need to know how to convert an ASUS DVD player/burner to play Region 2 disks. I want to set it up and leave it that way. Doing research for college and for a book.
    How do I do this?

DVD43 might work for simple region removal:

If it doesn't then you'll need to try something like PassKey:

    Or AnyDVD:

These still not NOT solve any Video Format(NTSC or PAL) issues you may encounter down the road.
Computers don't care about PAL or NTSC....your television however does care.

I also hear that some computer media players don't care about region info either....VLC for example.

Thank you! I will see how well the DVDs do with my computer. Maybe there won't be a problem, after all. However, thank you and I appreciate your help.
