    For what USB HD capture card? Most will not work with any recording software other than that provided by the manufacturer, plus GraphEdit, or GraphStudio.

    (GraphEdit, or GraphStudio are Direct Show development tools. It is not easy for most beginners to create working graphs with either GraphEdit, or GraphStudio and a script to use them to make timed recordings.)
