Looking for info on using Gspot. Some info from the comments in the comments section review of this program.
    And some info here http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/68/Gspot.aspx

I tried to take a screenshot of the home page after entering the video I want to edit, but was unable to. Must be something about this program that prohibits screenshots. I'll copy some info:
    Canon\2015\06\2015_06_29\MVI_6085.MOV
    qt : Apple QuickTime (.MOV/QT)
    - CAEP: <unknown>
    File Type: QuickTime (.MOV)
    Mime Type: video/quicktime
    Recommended Display Size: 1280 x 720
    codec; sowt: 16-bit signed little-endian
    Info 44100hz
    Stat Status Undetermined
    Codec avc1 H.264
    Codec Status Undetermined

One thing I want to know is how to remove the Exif data. Can Gspot do this?
And how to determine or input the video codec.

Edit: After saying that the video and audio could not be rendered, it suggested the MS a/v button 1.

Then after that it said: Render OK, the following combination of filters were used:
    - Canon MOV file parser filter, Canon H264 decode filter, Video Renderer (Quartz)
    - Canon MOV file parser filter, Default DirectSound device.

    Try using Mediainfo instead.

And as far as I know, gSpot won't edit anything, it simply reads the file.
