I am trying to make a backup of some svcd's. I am using roxio and clonecd but I cannot get it to work. Both programs tell me that the CD-R I am using does not have enough space(80min) and then asks me if I want to continue anyways. I tried and it ejected the cd at about 96% complete. I tried viewing the copy and it works fine until I get to the last 5 mins or so and then it just gets stuck and I have to reboot the computer. The last 5 mins are the most important!! :)
Can someone help me out? I kow it is possible. I have read where using most standard cd copiers will work but Easy CD creator and clonecd are not working for me. How do I do this?
Thanks

the disc is probably overburned, and either the burning software, cd-rw drive, or media you are using does not support it..

I had a similar problem. Twice. The disc would be burning fine for at least 50% and then eject, or it would make it all the way to the end and then eject before it could put the final finishes on it.
One time it was Nero didn't like that TMPGenc was open. Even if TMPGenc wasn't in use and just minimized, Nero would not finish burning a disc. Very strange. It took me many wasted discs to figure out the connection with TMPGenc. I downloaded the new TMPGenc, and now they both like each other being open at the same time.
I've also had trouble using disc-copy to copy VCD/SVCD. Same symptoms as above. Until I can figure something else out, to copy a VCD/SVCD I have to go into the mpeg folder on the disc and copy the .dat file to the hard drive and then burn it off the hard drive using the regular VCD or SVCD template in Nero. For me, disc-copy for (S)VCD just doesn't work half the time for some reason. It's not really a big deal, but it'd be nice to know why it won't work.
