Hauppauge HD PVR IR blasting help

I recently got my the other day, and have been trying to set it up to change channels on my cable box. I've ran the IR Blast config, and it hasn't found a code for it. Plus, I could find any information, for this kind of box, on its IR. I was wondering if anyone may already have the code, or may know how to set it up. Thanks.

Setup

Cablebox: Comcast Xfinity RNG 150N (Model PR150BNC)
Programs: WinTV (Version 2.7.0.8312) and its IR Blaster Program (Version 7.3.28312)

Been a while since I set up my PVR using the Hauppauge 1950, so I may not be much help. I can tell you that WinTV is up to version 7.2, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem. Your Blast Config is the correct version. I have Verizon FIOS which is relatively new compared to some of these products. I seem to remember I had to 'teach' the config software my remote. I don't think it downloaded the remote codes from Hauppauge. Your problem may be similar.

I never could get that damned IRBlaster to work with my Comcast (motorola) cable box.

I wish you luck, but you know, strictly speaking it's not necessary. I've gotten along fine without it for several years now, and I'm on my second Hauppauge HD-PVR (second one a warranty replacement).
