Hi all,
I own a Nikon D5000 & Nikon J3 camera. I record video of my friends singing on a stage through the stage's microphone that project through a speaker.
My audio turned out distortion of feedback from the speaker. I can hear the audio but not clearly.
Any special microphone I need to buy & connect to my camera so I can get a better quality of the audio?
Thanks.

Probably you are hearing overmodulation, not feedback. Simplest fix is to set your recording levels manually and turn them down. A better solution is to get a feed from the mixing board so you have clean sound directly from the microphones.

You may also try this workaround: wrap your microphone in some cotton wool. It might help to decrease volume avoiding distortion...
