Anything is possible, usually it just costs more.
It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly

If the O.P. is talking about copy protection, some of it can be defeated, some can't. Not enough info.

This time i am not owner of that disc but some1 other said he tried anydvd and dvdfab both failed

    herre is his comment

The Pee Mak DVDs contains a bad sector copy protection scheme, so it's impossible to make a full copy of the disc.
I decided to demux everything into elementary streams and re-author in DVDLab. There's only custom static menu, since I couldn't be bothered with finding out how to make animated menus in DVDLab. I haven't used DVDLab like this for almost 10 years and was a bit rusty. Had to re-learn many things and redo the disc several times as I found out how to separate it into different VTS. This was very tedious especially on disc2 with all the menu connections.

    What a load of CRAP.
How do you demux something that you supposedly can't "get" from the disc?

AnyDVD and DVDFab may have failed because the most up to date versions weren't used. However, there is another reason they may have failed. AnyDVD and DVDFab are updated mostly for Hollywood movies. The variations on bad sector copy protection are almost infinite and it's possible that Pee Mak uses some variation that has not been used yet in DVDs in the USA or Europe. If your friend wants to donate a copy of Pee Mak to AnyDVD and DVDFab, I'm sure they could update their programs to rip it. Pee Mak seems to be a Thai movie and those are almost never released outside of Asia, so it's very likely that just as I said it uses a type of bad sector copy protection that has not yet been used in the West.

I didn't quite understand that, but I'd be more inclined to think there was a small scratch or smudge on it rather than believing just a single VTS or a part of a VTS couldn't be decrypted.

How nice to know that you have accomplished something that Hollywood cannot. Excuse my skepticism. You're not really that Polish guy who used to claim the same thing here some years ago are you?

I bet somebody here could indeed copy your movie and add subs to it. We have some really smart members who aren't fooled by bad sectors and phony table headers.

Hollywood will never create movie like RED CLIFF1/2.

if u are more smarter than anydvd and dvdfab try to create better software and maybe u will create something for Cinavia too.

i was talkin about SEX is ZERO korean comedy which included insaine funny extras [on this board ppl dont like extras]

but that disc looks like is incorectly copied so I was forced to use movie only and subtitles.
