SVCD with nero

i have installed the svcd plugin but it didnt seem to do anything. to burn this, should i just turn off standard compliance and continue ?

which version of Nero?
I use 5.5.7.2, and I've never had a problem burning SVCD's.
turning off standard compliance is worth a shot...it's worked for me before.

Turn off standard compliance and continue and it should work. I have had the same thing happen and just continuing works everytime.

Yeah nero bitches too much about standard compliance. I recently did a 4800khz sound and 720x480 pixels and turned it off and superb quality was the result though it would not play on my pc it did run in my dvd which is much better anyhow. :P

:-? When I burn an svcd using nero i can't ff without causing the audio and video to go out of sync. If i let the svcd play on through there are no sync issues and when i burn vcd's there are no sync issues. With the vcd format i can even ff without causing a sync problem. Is this a problem with the nero program and is there a fix out there?

OK. I have synch problems all the time with svcd using nero. I have to say that if I Play the vcd on the computer, there are no synch issues. However, on the dvd player, (both my sampo dve 620 and rca), the audio is way out of synch with the video. I can't understand that the cd plays perfectly using windvd on the pc. I have 5.5.7.2 and no svcd plug in. I use turn off standard compliance.

Hello there,

I´m using Nero 5.5.6.4 and created a SVCD.
When I put it into my standalone Grundig GDV130 everything works fine but the length of the movie doesn`t get displayed 00:00.
When I forward the movie the sound/video sync. - get`s lost.

Does anyone know about this problem?
