Why does HuffYuv show a 3:2 aspect ratio?

I notice that when converting 4:3 DV to HuffYuv, mediainfo shows a 3:2 AR. Why is this?

Maybe (?) because the DV is NTSC 720x480 (frame AR 3:2) with a display aspect ratio of 4:3, but the huffyuv 720x480 simply reads as 3:2 because lossless AVI doesn't have a display AR.

load that lossless into videoeditor and give that clip DV aspect ratio over there, Vegas - right click the clip /properties/ media

if you encode that lossless directly you have to set aspect ratio in encoder

while watching the clip in some software player , you can set aspect ratio through some menu also
