I tried many converters that can not load my pvr files and i saw my friends pvr file all has hundreds MB size, their pvr can be converted by the converter, i don't know if i missed sth. Others have asked similar questions to yours here in the past, but there was no solution available. If your friends could convert recordings made by their TVs, they were very lucky.

Most of the time TVs with a recording feature create files that can only be viewed using the TV that recorded them. It is often possible to make back-up copies of recordings, but the recorded files are usually encrypted to prevent viewing with other devices or conversion to a more standard format for portability.
