Can't tell with jpg pics, looks like regular shots with just darker pictures as 4k.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
@Mephesto
Now they were saying?
I just asked their design engineer "I can not see much difference here, can you tell me?"
He replied "Well, the difference is really very hard to see, but easy to say. Technically Standard Display is on Left-Half and Triluminos Display on Right-Half."
I said "I will judge the difference rather mechanically by the size of my wallet, not visually"
He said "Have you made up your mind?, Which one?"
I said "Well, Not yet, I will be back soon."
I left them with a thought what is the use of 10bit/12bit depths where 8bit can produce marvellous results? -
TBH I like the standard display left-half in the pic. It looks realistic and how an island surrounded by ocean should look. Their Trilumatros-whatever display makes it look like an outdoor swimming pool with plastic plants. Why would I pay money for that horse shit?
Advertisementfail. Either way, they merely manipulated the photo as I demonstrated which just further proves why you shouldn't buy anything from them, lol. -

While looking for some high end test and calibration hardware equipments, Looking at mutli-product catalog I inquired PONY Technica Sales Rep.
Sales Rep : We have everything that you want.
I said that well, will your equipment will pass our rigorious laboratory tests and standards?
Sales Rep : I can confirm that it had definitely passed ours.
I replied "It is just a matter of different reference."
Mean while I approached German Manufacure.
German Sales & Customer Support : Your technical expectations are too high. Make a list of your expectations and we will put it in a safe locker. May be one day in future we will execute your order to someone in your next generation. At this moment the equipments we have are just top of the line with near future demands, and they will simply exceed all the quality standards and tests in this whole universe including your test facility.
I replied "Deal is Done and Closed."Last edited by enim; 31st Jul 2013 at 10:47.

Who the frak cares? What a stupid thing. Upscaling HD to 4K doesn't make it 4K resolution. This reminds me of those dumb threads started by people who think upscaling SD to 1080p makes it high definition.

I'm not rich. I've been living on $3 a day for a few years, but I get who they're targeting.

Nordic culture is one of honesty and pragmatism. They have no tolerance for liars and con artists there. Look up "deontology."
The West practices a normative ethic called "virtue ethics" which is essentially the idea that someone better and smarter than you will instill in you certain behaviors and rituals he considers will make you a virtuous citizen. In other words, "we know what's good for you". **** OFF.
What you've noticed is the classic contrast between the two.
I have nothing but utmost respect for most Nordic peoples and their pragmatism. Tech support from the Netherlands (for my modem which was built there) was one of the best I've experienced. -

Getting little personal and more friendly. Few days back We provided a safe and sound shelter to young hare mom and four new born babies. We consulted wild life officer (ex) to seek some advice. When we talk inside, he suggested that local wildlife control authority should take custody of them. When he saw a beautiful safe-n-sound arrangement plus german shepherd as a guard, he dropped his suggestion. He said "Fantastic, heaven is right here, they will probably never leave". He also ensured his availibity as and when required for free. We planted some fast growing vegetables so mom and babies can enjoy free buffet that they all can eat and mess around as much and as long as they want.
I do have pleasant memories of extra ordinary - excellent tech support from Germans.
