UncropMKV no longer runs correctly - If I load a mkv file it indicates the tracks found and the general parameters etc. When I click on queue and then click start, there appears for about a second 2 a two command prompt windows, quickly closing. The log then says job done! . The resulting file is 0Kb with the suffix .264.

    The preview doesn't show either.

All present - I have updated all but still no joy. I have a cropped mkv file, 1920 x 816 that I want to add black borders to bring it up to 1920 x 1080 to be Blu ray compliant. UncropMKV which worked in the past (I think I used it 18 months ago!) just doesn't anymore...
Any other programs that I could use to add the black borders?

Still haven't been able to get uncropmkv to work, however I have installed the companion software multiavchd and it worked in adding black bars an authoring a blu ray format disc.... Problem sort of solved. I would still like to get uncropmkv working so any other comments welcomed...

Solved: MKV not showing in preview.

I tried Codec CodecTweakTool_530 and under Preferred Splitters (86) I ticked the button Haali (recommended). This restored MKV files in the preview mode.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions....
