  2. Restaurant was in Italy. He was probably talking to a mafia person and they slipped something in his drink.

  3. Actually he was in a bathroom at his hotel. maybe he strained too much. Travel always makes me constipated. Oooohhh, TMI

  4. Interesting... my newspaper says he was sitting at a table in a restaurant in Italy and everything went black. Odd statement.

What I couldn't believe was that the national news spent 10 minutes on it the morning it came out.

I mean if it was like Sean Connery dying or something I could understand that level of attention. I don't underestimate the importance of Sopranos even though I never watched it but the coverage seemed way out of wack for that level of actor.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  7. I agree with Yoda 100%. CNN wouldn't stop talking about it. Way overblown hype.

Well, I guess that finally puts an end to all the Soprano's movie and reunion rumours!!!
    LOL!!!

Okay, seriously, I don't really remember him from anything BUT the Soprano's, but it was a good show and I have watched it in it's entirety more than a couple of times over the years.

    Sean Connery
    Really ?!?!?

I mean, he was good and I like most of what he was in, but I like a lot of stuff a lot of people were in.....
It's kind of like Madonna & Micheal Jackson, they may be talented, but how they are considered to be some great talent almost god like is a mystery to me......

    Sheople.....

    Oy Vey!!!!

I think you'll get more people like me than not. Even though Connery isn't my favorite Bond (brosnan is mine) I still appreciate his molding of the character.

Also the only two other movies I've seen him in besides 007 is Hunt For Red October and Indiana Jones and the Last Cruzade - both of which are great movies and ones I can watch forever and not get bored. Actually he was in the first Highlander movie right? I have it but I haven't watched it in so long I don't remember what his character was like.

Regarding the musicians you mention I actually can understand the worship they might get a little better too. I mean their personal lives aside they were some of the top talents of their generation. Plus not to mention for better or worse setting up major distinctions for themselves. Like Thriller for Michael Jackson and maybe something like Like a Virgin for Madonna.

Definitely landmark events for both artists, man I hate using that term for musicians but I guess thats what everybody calls em.

@noahtuck - I'm not trying to deify them or anything but I'm just trying to put them in perspective to the Sopranos guy. I think it would be hard to argue that the sopranos guy had a more distinguised career than Connery has had.

I guess that is what I'm trying to get at. The overall depth of work and international recognition.

By the way didn't Connery do most or all of his Bond movies before he was 51? FYI Never Say Never Again doesn't count as its not an official bond movie - Ie not a Broccoli/EON production.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
