Hi!
I have one bad mpg file (rendered in Vegas as mainconcept for dvda) where in one place some frames are missing and audio goes out of sync. What I want to do is to cut apart the video and match it with the audio track. Frames will be missing for 8 seconds, doesn't really matter. But I want to do it without re-encoding. I already tried Vegas Pro 12 settings like match media and project settings but still re-encoding will occur.
I know VideoReDo can cut apart the video as I want, but how can join it back together with the 8 sec gap between the clips so that audio will be in sync?

no, the original source is the rendered file.
Actually I should have done more work by myself since I pretty much figured it out now. I just make the video into 3 parts: 1 part is till the place where frames drop, 2 part is a clip with empty frames and synced audio, 3 part is video continuing with out of sync audio. Made 1 cut in VideoReDo to separate video, rendered the 2 clip with empty frames to accommodate audio, and rendered last part of the audio after dropped frames and muxed with the last part of the video clip which contained audio out of sync. Then join 3 clips in VideoReDo and Voila!
