I want to know if its possible to merge pictures side by side and in a row, like so

Obviously not from a video file, but from standard images, I'm trying to achieve the same results to post on a board and have it so, the picture will then have to be click on to be seen in its entirely.

Hope this goes in the right section, sorry for any mistake.

PS... For some reason on this site, your image resizer doesn't resize it down, it keeps the whole size?

Yes, it is possible. Any photo editor can help you achieve this. <g>
But... I suppose you want it automated, too. Look for “contact sheet” software. Would you mind if the software reduced the resolution (scale down) for this purpose? Are all your images (in a set) of the same size? Do all your images (in a set) have the same aspect ratio?

That wasn't obvious at all; your sample image suggested otherwise. It does discard a sub-selection of the available contact sheet software, as some are specifically for video use.

That behavior is a function of the site where you post it.
