Hire someone with a melodic voice, buy a good microphone and record with Audacity?
Synthesized text-to-voice programs don't sound natural. Personally I would avoid them.
Use a room were you wont be disturbed and no extraneous noise is likely to leak in (from traffic, aircraft, family members etc).
Make sure the readers' seat doesn't squeak. -
Does there is a specific hardware for this operation?
-
Equipment needs:
1. Nice quiet room
2. High quality microphone placed close to speaker's mouth
3. Good, short cables
4. Microphone pre-amp
5. Analog-to-digital converter
6. PC Capture port for digital signal
7. Sound recording software
8. PC that this stuff goes into
9. Headphone/speakers to monitor/listen to recording
You could do more, like sound baffling, etc. You can also consolidate by using standard modern sound card which combines #4,5,6 into one.
Or you could REALLY consolidate and go the way of gettting a Zoom H2, etc and capture direct to flashdrive/smartcard, then put the smartcard into your PC to edit.
Lots of fairly cheap possibilities these days.
As always,
What's your current equipment?
What's your budget?
What's your timeline?
What's your target device/audience?
What's your level of expertise/skillset?
MORE...INFO...PLEASE.
