I am completely new to the world of video. I am shooting some instructional videos for a website I have created. I shot them on a Panasonic DVX100 (is this a good camcorder to use) with MiniDV media. I need now to connect my camcorder to my computer. I have no firewire connector on my computer. I understand I may have to buy a Pinnacle Moviebox to do this but they are somewhat expensive and will take 5 days to get (I cant find anyone who sells them in Pensacola). Is there an easier way to get the MiniDv to my computer?

Also... I have access to a Sony HVR-M25U. It takes miniDv tapes, but will I also need a Pinnacle movie box to hook up to the Sony? Or can I buy a cord that connects straight from the sony to my computer. (Like a 4-pin firewire to a USB)

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
