    I was wondering if you can convert divx to svcd or does it have to be vcd. ive tried convering to vcd, and I got all this compliant junk in nero. but then again, the divx is only mpg1 not mpg2 which i thought mpeg 2 was required for svcd.

    yeah,. you can convert divx to svcd, i do it all the time.
    You can either use VBR or CBR... i use CBR mostly, it only takes about the same amount of time as making a VCD, where as VBR takes about 3 times the amount.
