    A few days ago my car was hit by this car and im trying in some way to find out the car numbers is it possible to anything to see atleast the letters or the numbers? Heres also the video i would really appreciate the help as it would help me catch the idiot who did this to my car.

    sorry but there is no evidence that car hit yours or any other. why should we help identify it? who knows what you intend to do with the info. bye!

    There is not enough detail and too much noise to extract anything anyway. There is no detail in point of fact. It is all noise.

    Another day on the forum and yet another topic on attempting to get car numbers from a low quality vid.

    Why should we, or you, play policemen ?. Give the vid to them and let them sort it out.

    After several hours of image processing I can say with considerable confidence that ... it's blue, if that helps.

    You know....that car is out there driving around right now.....license plates proudly displayed for the whole world to see.
    I never understood the absolute, knee-jerk, paranoid "license plate on video or film" nonsense.
