how long ?

i have strange draining happening lately. but if i turn off the wifi, is back to normal. turn back on, and battery dies by end of day.

note, i know about turning off wifi and other real-time activity (ie, notifications, etc) to save battery life. i have all those off..that i recall. however, this low battery by end of day has me worried. i am wondering if something new is going on in the wifi hacking scene. for instance, when i leave my wifi on, (at work) i am wondering if my ipod touch is being (extra) pinged or maybe, hacked for its address. i don't know. this has started sometime last week. i've turned off wifi, 4 days ago, and i'm still full. so, something new is going on but i can't pinpoint the exact cause.

thoughts, anyone ?
