    Heya guys,

I just downloaded newest version of DVDFab HD Decrypter and tried to rip some.

What happened after clicking button Start its Analyzing of DVD for 26 seconds. Then it says:

    Video Quality Is Unreachable
    Task_1 failed! Error=401
    Process failed!

    And ejects DVD.

I never experienced anything like that.
Is this some kind of new protection?

    TIA

  2. Try updating to version 9.0.2.2:
    http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm

You will need to activate the update to version 9 online (this means creating an account).

Edit - oh, I see you're using the free version. Never mind.

"Rip" the disc to your hard drive (first)....take movie only and remove excess languages, subs etc etc.

  4. Is the DVD a new release? If so it probably has new copy-protection.

What happens when you use AnyDVD? It has a 21 day free trial.

What movie are you trying to rip? If you downloaded version 8.2.2.6 then that version has not been updated since 12-25-2012, According to the DVDFab site versions that start with an 8 are being discontinued an being replaced with a version that starts with a 9 and a new interface, I'm still using version 8.2.2.6 and have not had any problems with new releases, It seems like most DVDS have not been coming out with new copy protection.
