I never had this problem before but, now DVDFAB 8 will not work. Here is the problem; I load a DVD DL to backup to a DVD5 disc. The setting at the bottom of the screen (Quality) is DVD5. DVD selection is Main Movie. Options Group is set to DVD Copy. Also, deflaut "outout size" is set to DVD5. However, DVDFab asks me to place a DLL disc in the drive for the destination. That's wacky because I told it DVD5. I have no problems using CloneDVD2.
Under DVD/Bluray-Write I have Under "writable media(DVD9)Size," 8152 DVD+R DL, and under "Writable media DVD5" I have 4900. Should that be 4300? If not, then what's the problem here?

You never had this problem before WITH DVDFAB? Have you ever used it before? Did you pay for the full version of DVDFab?

  3. You should stick to 4300 MB for DVD-5 size.

Use it many times from version 6. Now, I see a lot more tweaks than prior versions. I am going to try 4300 and see what happens. Why the hell they set the default to 4900 is beyond me.

Irrelevant. Only the PAY version of DVDFab reduces the size of a DVD. If you don't have the PAY version it reverts to DVDFabDecrypter and copies the entire DVD to your hard drive.

I have the paid version. The setting to 4300 did the trick. Now, it works well. If you don't pay attention to the settings you can have problems. Why it ever went to 4900 beats me!
