i've got this divx and the sound have 2 channels
french and english
now i wanna get rid of french..
so a got tmpeg to take out the audio track and make it into a sound.mpg
now what do i do to get rid of 1 channel of that audio track?? (sound.mpg)
and how do i get the divx to get rid of the sound so i can add that edited track to it later??

What I would do is open the DivX in VDub, convert the audio to a wav file. Then open the wav in CoolEdit (or any other decent sound editing software), this will display both right and left channels. Hi-light the channel that is French and delete it. Then copy the English channel to the other so you now have two English channels in both the left and right, and save as a new wav file.
If you don't want to filter anything else about the DivX file, then encode your VCD using TMPEG using the DivX Avi for video and the new wav file for the audio to make your mpg.
You could try the sound.mpg in CoolEdit but I'm not sure if it will work properly (it will recongnize MP3 but not MP2).

looks like this is the problem now..
got the track into wave
but then i open it in cool edit
both channels are mixed togehter...
so..
how do i just select either main or sub??
