I have a Magnavox ZC320MW8B DVD Recorder. If I transfer a VHS tape that's in good shape, the DVD copy comes out fine. If I am copying a VHS with wear, any damaged section of tape displays black screen for the duration of the damage. It could simply be a split second of static on the tape, and you get a split second of black screen. It displays on screen during taping and during DVD playback too. It's quite frustrating. I'm not sure if I just have a junky recorder, if it's an analog to digital issue or something else, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about and has any info on something to do about it please help. Thanks.
I also posted this thread here: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/352554-Intermittent-Black-Screen-On-VHS-To-DVD-Conversion It's in the wrong spot. Can a mod delete it please? Sorry, and thanks.
