  1. I use TSMUXER to turn MKV files into BD Folder Structures for fast burning to Blu-ray Discs to play in my blu-ray player. The problem is that TSMUXER doesn't support AVI files. I know I could use converters and such but it just takes way too much time for this and I love how fast TSMUXER is. I'm going to get a Media Player soon for my TV to make life easier but until then, anyone know of any software like TSMUXER that supports AVI? I tried using AVI MUX GUI and it turns the movie into an MKV, but TSMUXER won't accept it.

Bottomline I just want the fastest way to turn AVI/MKV into BD Folder structures to burn to blu-ray discs.

Is the avi blu-ray compliant? H264 video, etc?

I doubt that so you must rencovert then.

Or your player probably supports the avi if it's divx/xvid.

Identify the avi properties with mediainfo.

The codec is XVID. So TSMUXER doesn't support the XVID codec or AVI container. What are my options for the fastest way to burn AVI to BD files? Or am I stuck finding some slow converter to re-encode the video?

You must reconvert if you want a real blu-ray.

    See https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-blu-ray-converters

But many media players support avi xvid...so do you have to convert?

I don't have a Media Player for my TV yet, just a Panasonic 3D Blu-Ray player. I did some research and apparently the model I have is suppose to read MKV files but it won't even read that unless I'm doing something wrong. I did a test run with an AVI and MKV file, I stuck them in a folder called BDMV, burned that folder using IMGBURN and all the right settings for a Blu-Ray disc and it didn't work. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or the blu-ray player just doesn't support the format.

The model number for my blu-ray player is SA-BTT270.
