after searching around, the general consensus on removing DRM from a WMV seems to be pretty hit or miss. Is there anyway to remove DRM without having to screencapture , re encode, lose quality from a video file? If so, is there a guide out there somewhere? Sorry if this is a question asked often.

There use to be a program called fairusevm or some such that worked for awhile on playforsure wmv videos.

however that was defunct with subsequent windows media player updates.

I believe cornucopia is correct that there pretty much isn't anything available these days aside from screen capping.

    Sorry.
