I bought an ambient DVD on Amazon called Hawaii Beaches. I made an iso of it to put on my Acer Revo running XBMC (it has no disk drive). The problem is it jumps straight to the main video and totally bypasses the menu. In fact even selecting "menu" causes it to go back to the FBI warning before going to the main video again. I've tried PGCEdit and found the menu and marked it with it showing up in red but when I clicked >> Run it again jumped to the main video. Is there anything I can do please? Thank you!![]()

I've done further testing and it seems the very first PGC is a "Jump" command which sends it straight to a "Title" in question. Can I delete the "Jump" command?

Run the Trace (up at the top, Trace->Trace Mode) and trace through that first video until you can get to the menu. Right-click on the menu and 'Toggle PGC pre/post breakpoint' to make the menu red. Trace through to the menu again and this time go (up at the top) PGC->Jump to PGC upon DVD insert'.
Test it out, save your work, and burn to disc. -
Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately I had tried what you suggest before I posted. It just keeps returning to the same title no matter what I press in trace mode. I have a bit more information too. DVDFab reports it as being a 4.8GB iso but DVDDecrypter shows it to be 6.5GB which I find strange. Something funny going on methinks.

That's not the impression I got from your earlier post. You said you found the menu and made it red. Meaning, to me, you hadn't traced to the menu, which is pretty important when redoing the menu commands.

It does as you say even on the hard drive, correct? Because I'm always suspicious of the behavior of ISOs and the hardware boxes that can play them.
My next suggestion is to post at Doom9 in the IFO/VOB Editors forum where the developer (r0lZ) can be found. Although he sometimes comes here, he can more easily be found at Doom9. He'll know the questions to ask to get to the bottom of this. Sorry I wasn't much help. -
There's a detailed guide for this that takes into account some oddities that may occur. Maybe you'll find something useful:
http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/How_to_use_PgcEdit_new_macro.htm
The guide is for an older version of PGCEdit, and the "Jump to PGC upon DVD insert' is in a different place now. But you should be able to find everything OK.
