  1. Hello...

I am wondering if the LG BP330 Blu Ray player plays SACDs (not just the cd layer, but all of it).

Also, if 24/96 FLAC files are burned onto a dvd, will the player read them and play them at that higher resolution, provided that the receiver is up to the task?

Not likely unless it was made a few years ago. The only currently produced BluRay players that I know of that still support SACD (and DVD Audio too) are the Oppo models.

I just took a look and SACD is not listed as a format that player supports. Google is your friend you know. You could have found the LG website too.

Your proposal about 24/96 is difficult to say. If they were WAV files I'd feel better about them being supported, but the play does support FLAC. However the fact that it supports FLAC does not necessarily mean that it supports 24/96 FLAC. You'll likely just have to try and see. Or look at the manual. Again, Google is your friend here.

  4. Your condescending advice about using Google and the LG website is irritating and unnecessary. Of course I have done these things.

In any event, I withdraw the questions because I have received more straightforward answers elsewhere.
