I have video recorded with a Sony that is 1920x1080i 29fps and when I download it into the computer it is AVCHD (.Mts) file, & then I have video recorded with a Panasonic that is 1920x1080p 59fps and when I download it into the computer it is M2TS (.M2ts) file.
My question is: What is the difference? When I used Multiavchd and Imgburn to place both of these video on a BD-R, the Sony AVCHD (.Mts) played FLAWLESSLY on my PS3. The Panasonic M2TS (.M2ts) played fair, but with some stutters.
Is it the 1080p 59fps that is causing the stutters OR the type of file-M2ts, that is causing the problem?
Just wondering what the real difference is between the m2ts vs. mts file?
I have placed both video below from mediainfo.
I have video here that I recorded with a Sony HD cam.
