  1. I never heard of .File before. Does anyone know how I would burn these to a DVD 9 disk? I tried ImgBurn and it wont accept those files. I burned it with PowerISO but that just burned as a DVD ROM. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

if it's something you downloaded say your prayers it wasn't a trojan/virus. no such thing as a .file you could just rename it .iso and see if anything likes it that way. but i'm thinking it's just a dummy file.

yeah. Just rename them to anything. Avi,mpeg... take your pick. Run each '.file' through mediainfo. If there is video in there the prog will tell you.

But do not hold your breath on this one.

Are you sure you don't have the "Hide extensions for known file types" option enabled in Explorer?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

It might depend upon which version of Windows you're using, but...
In Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > "View" tab. In the "Advanced settings:" pane, make sure the checkbox next to "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked. Click OK to clear the window and save the settings.
