  1. Hey everyone,

I'd like to cut some clips from my blu-ray movie discs (specifically "The Hangover" in this instance) to use in power point presentations or at least burn onto a disc that will allow me to easily play them on another pc. I'd like to keep them in full 1080p if possible. I figure that means I'm looking to get the clips into one of the following formats -->.mp4/.avi/.wmv

I don't want the whole movies backed up, just short select clips that are a few minutes in length. I can't seem to figure out how to do this though. Is it possible? I have the full version of AnyDVD HD along with DVD Shrink, Imageburn and BDRebuilder freeware. I imagine the first step is ripping the files to my hard drive using AnyDVD HD but I'm dead in the water after that. I'm essentially looking for the blu-ray version of this guide -->https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/296328-How-to-cut-out-clips-from-DVDs-and-convert-t...-free-software

Thanks so much for any help here folks!

Maybe you might have some luck with freemake video converter(ADWARE!!!) if you open the main m2ts and cut out the clips with the scissor.

Or else might dvdfab full version work. I don't know if you can cut exact though.

  3. Thanks Baldrick. I tried freemake and it worked for what I needed. It isn't perfect but it worked pretty well (you have to cut around the clip you want rather than selecting the clip you want and cutting it out). I don't believe there were any ads that were installed with it either, just be aware do deselect the ad offers during the install wizard and you're all set. Actually a very simple and versatile littel program there, thanks for the help!
