    Hi Guys and Girls,

This is my first post here and i am hoping you guys can help me...

Firstly i will introduce myself, I am jloveday and I served as a British soldier for 7 years completing tours in some of the most diverse and hostile environments across the globe, i am now working as a security consulatant for the maritime industry protecting vessels from Somalian based piracy. I am currently about to start a business but i need some information, the business will donate profits to military charities and the way the business generates revenue will be through selling personalised DVDs.

I need to know where to find and purchase the following and any information on how to do so or links would be greatly appreciated.

I need a software that enables me to burn personalised videos taken from a camera/webcam and burn them onto a DVD however with the current rate of pre orders we are looking at this will be a time consuming process, so if there is a software or way of producing large quantities of these DVDs all individually personalised and a device that can burn a large amount of DVDs at one time then if anyone has any info on where to get these then it would be greatly appreciated.

Im not overly worried about cost as i wish to make this business a success and its a great business aimed towards our troops and their families.

    Thanks guys in advance

    regards

    jloveday

The way the website will work is the client will upload their own video from either their webcam or from their own camera to the website and we then burn it to DVD and send out to them. So whichever is best for this process?

    Many thanks

Ok, so where is the "personalization"? (Other than the clear fact of the client providing their own material)

I'm all for charity (and yours seems a good one), but beyond dvd creation & duplication, where is the added value? Because consumers can easily come to places like this site and find apps to help them do it themselves for free, and there are plenty of competitive, inexpensive commercial sites that already provide simple "upload, create & burn" services.

Nobody cares about any of those things, when you get down to it.

    Trust me here, I'd know.

Any old branded handwritten DVD is just as good as some generic inkjet template slop.
