    The short answer is yes.

    There are a number of chapter programs that generate chapters and or remove chapter times from BRs or DVDs so it depends on what your trying to do as to which programs you use.

  3. Sounds like you simply want append three mkv files,... which is easily possible with mmg (mkvmerge gui, which comes with mkvtoolnix).

    i don't want to remove chapters, i want to put the split up op\ed back into the main video of an ordered chapter mkv.

  5. How do i do that selur, i have mmg but don't see how.
    1. start mmg
    2. press 'Input->add', select "opening"
    3. press 'Input->append', select "main"
    3. press 'Input->append', select "end"
    4. press 'Input->Browse', set a new output file name
    5. press 'Start muxing'

    should be the way to merge mkv files,...

  6. kind of worked, but i lost the subtitles.

    The Main/OP/ED Videos all have their own separate subtitle files, once i did the appending no subtitles showed up, but mmg showed a subtitle file in the mkv.

  7. strange, afaik this should work,..
    the track, chapters, tags listing should show something like
    Code:
    S_Text/ASS (ID 2, type: subtitles) from "path to opening" (sourceFolder\ass subtitle)
    ++> S_Text/ASS (ID 2, type: subtitles) from "path to main" (sourceFolder\ass subtitle)
    ++> S_Text/ASS (ID 2, type: subtitles) from "path to ending" (sourceFolder\ass subtitle)
    Cu Selur

  8. EH nevermind i was wrong.

    It didn't work at all, i had forgot to remove the op\ed from the same directory, when i do the just plays the file without them same as before. Even though the filesize is bigger, it looks like it did add them into the file only they don't play.

    Also when muxing them together i get this error in mmg "The codec's private data does not match (lengths: 1164 and 1077). Please make sure that the resulting file plays correctly the whole time. The author of this program will probably not give support for playback issues with the resulting file."

  9. probably related to vfr material if mkvmerge is complaining about the video stream,...
    (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=129920 might be interesting, but will probably not help)

  12. Yeah... It acts like it works, the filesize has increase and the subtitle stream from the op\ed files have been merged into the original .ass of the video, but the actual video streams from the op\ed don't show up.
