PC, Laptop, iPod Touch, iPhone....cannot load Google.com.
All other pages (including Google.de etc etc) load fine.
    MUST be my router/modem....right?

PERHAPS the problem is in the DNS servers of your ISP

    Try Google's own DNS servers:

    Code:
    8.8.8.8

    8.8.4.4

    DNS, not router.
Change the DNS in the router. Google DNS and OpenDNS are better choices.
Most ISP DNS servers really suck.

All of a sudden Google.com is back. Either it was a glitch by my ISP or my wife's company laptop(secured to hell and back) played a role in it somehow. She was mooching off of our home connection yesterday because her super-secure direct connection has been on the fritz. Strange.

Sounds like she was on a VPN; my wife's company had that for a few years and had so many complaints they switched to a secure, sign-in website and most of the support calls stopped.

fyi in the future sometimes doing a full shutdown on both the router and modem might help. Not always a foolproof solution but definitely worth a try. Besides if you were to call tech support they'd suggest that right away anyway.
