Ripping a whole TV series (one season if abit off)

Hey people,

I am backing up a TV series and have found that season 5 stands out with poor quality compared to the rest!! (Almost looks like a frame rate problem.. ((it did require 'Decombing', but so did season 1 and results are far better on S01)).

Has anyone else had this happen? (The exact same settings were used for all seasons, every disk in this season '5' has the same problem.)

It happens from time to time, that TV episodes aren't all created the same from year to year for broadcast or for DVD. If you upload an untouched sample from the source someone here can provide a more informed suggestion about how it should be handled.

And if you mention the name of the series, maybe someone has even worked with it before.
