can i omit the conversion of the chapters?

if i were to convert the movie fr dvd to vcd,
can i just don't bother about the extra materials (those chapters)
in dvd and just convert the main movie?

and just make sure your settings in SmarRipper are set to FULL MOVIE only.

Almost all ripping methods and guides only described the ripping of the main movie in detail.

Generally, ripping the additional material is the complicated bit and if you don't want this material, then you don't need to worry about it.

Just use SmartRipper and rip using "Movie Mode". It will by default rip only the main movie.

I suggest you going to http://www.doom9.net and reading some of the guides there if you want more info and details.
