I'm usually quite patient, but this problem is really starting to eat at me. I've noticed recently that if I cap for 1 hour using Vdub capturing at any resolution, using Huffyuv, TMPGEnc (MPEG-1 VCD) will always create a couple garbled frames at around 5 minutes. I've tried any number of setting changes, GOP settings, you name it, all produce the same result. This is using ver 2.53 on WinXP. My machine is an Athlon 1.4, 768Mb RAM, and a 60Gb 7200rpm dedicated (defragged) drive.
Surely someone else out there is having similar problems!
Thanks in advance.
